Ms Chua Sock Koong was appointed SingTel's Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 April 2007 and oversees the company's three key businesses - Singapore, Australia and International. She joined as Treasurer in 1989, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 1999 and has held several senior positions within the company. An Executive Director of SingTel and board member of Bharti Airtel Limited, she is also a member of the SMU Board of Trustees, the Casino Regulatory Authority and the Public Service Commission. Mr Miguel Ko is Chairman and President, Asia-Pacific for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., the largest upper-upscale hotel company in the region. In his role, Mr Ko has strategic oversight of the operating and financial performance of 150 hotels and resorts with more than 50,000 rooms and 45,000 associates in 21 countries in Asia-Pacific. Additionally, there are over 100 new hotels under construction. Prior to this appointment, Mr Ko was Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CDL Hotels International. Mr Ko received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters of Business Administration from Suffolk University. She has won several major research awards, including the 2008 Walter F. Ulmer, Jr. Applied Leadership Research Award. Prior to joining Baxter in 2005, his recent positions with Abbott Laboratories include Corporate Vice President, Asia Pacific, and Chairman and Representative Director, Japan. Mr Wong Lup Wai is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Philips Electronics Singapore. Appointed in February 2009, he is responsible for growing the business and team in Singapore. Under his leadership, Philips received the inaugural TAFEP Exemplary Award in April 2010, which recognises companies with excellent employment and people practices. Mr Wong is a board member of the SICC and a member in the Resource Panel formed by the GPC for Finance and Trade and Industry. Mr Gerard Ee was a practising accountant for almost 30 years until he retired as a partner of Ernst and Young. Soon after his retirement, Mr Ee was called in to help re-establish public confidence in a large charity organisation. Mr Ee was thrust into a major human resources exercise. At the charity he had to right size the organisation by shrinking the workforce by almost 400 staff. He had to demonstrate fairness and compassion in the treatment of staff laid off. In addition he had to rally the remaining staff towards the rebuilding of the organisation.

Prof Ivy Ng is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) and Chief Executive Officer of KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). As Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SingHealth, she drives strategy formulation, planning and implementation to the three hospitals, five national disease centres and nine primary health clinics under SingHealth. As Chief Executive Officer of KKH, she has dedicated much attention to the growing needs of women and children through medical innovations and holistic care services. Under her charge, KKH has received numerous awards for their people practices. In recognition of Prof Ng's people-centric leadership, she was conferred the SHRI Leading Chief Executive Officer Award in 2008.

Mr Liu Zhengrong is the Global Head of Human Resources at LANXESS AG and was the first Chinese to be appointed as Group Senior Vice President among the top 50 German business corporations in 2004. Prior to LANXESS AG, Liu spent six years in Asia working for Bayer AG and held senior positions including Head of Human Resources, Bayer Group, China and Asia-Pacific Human Resources Head, Bayer Polymer business. He holds a master's degree from the University of Cologne in Education, Political Science and Anglo-American Study. Mr Liu's human resources belief is "Trust in people management, Simplicity in human resources policies and Speed in change management."

Ms Cordelia Chung was named Regional General Manager, IBM ASEAN in January 2009, overseeing IBM's regional operations across Southeast Asia that include sales and distribution, manufacturing, procurement, global delivery and support functions. Ms Chung joined IBM in 1991 as General Counsel for China and Hong Kong, and promoted to Vice President and General Counsel for Asia Pacific in 1996. She moved to a business leadership role in 2001 with her appointment as General Manager, IBM China/Hong Kong and has since served in a variety of key leadership positions including Vice President, Business Partners and Vice President, Financial Services Sector for IBM Asia Pacific. Ms Chung serves as a member of the IT Working Group of Singapore's Economic Strategies Committee.

Mr Drach is a graduate of Louisiana State University and has a master's degree in Industrial Relations from Louisiana Tech University. Mr Lim Swee Say joined the Labour Movement in 1996, serving as Deputy Secretary-General in the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) from 1997 to 1999. Currently, he is Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. Since January 2007, he has also been serving as NTUC’s Secretary-General. A Chevening-Swire British Council scholar, she took a one-year sabbatical to do her Masters in Transnational Communications & the Global Media at Goldsmiths College in London in 2003-04.
