Mr Kraisit Anukoolutaiwong is Executive Vice President of Corporate Human Resource for IRPC Public Co., Ltd, a leading Integrated Petrochemical and Refinery Company in Thailand. He worked in IRPC more than 20 years in the field of Human Resource Management and helped established the Human Resource Planning and Development function in 2008. Since 2008, his role has been gradually broadened to incorporate responsibility for Human Resource Strategy. He has been the spearhead in setting-up and overseeing the design and implementation of IRPC Human Capital development strategies with specific emphasis on creating career growth, individual competency development, leadership development program, succession planning, talent management and maximizing training benefits to the organization and so on.

Mr Joydeep Bose is the President and the Global Head of Human Resources for Olam International Limited. He is responsible for providing leadership to the human resources function globally across more than 60 countries. He has more than 20 years experience in the human resources field across industries such as chemical processing, telecom, information technology and supply chain management. His expertise is in the areas of organisation performance enhancement, transformational change, mergers & acquisitions and leadership development.

He sits on the research committee of the International Trading Institute which focuses on building talent for the trading industry in Singapore. He holds a post graduate management degree from XLRI, India and is a graduate of engineering.

Dr John Boudreau is Professor and Research Director at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and Center for Effective Organizations, is recognized for breakthrough research on how decisions about human capital, talent and human resources affect sustainable competitive advantage. He has published more than 60 books, articles, and chapters, featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal and Fortune. His books include Beyond HR, with Pete Ramstad (Harvard Business Publishing, 2007), Investing in People, with Wayne Cascio (Pearson, 2008), Achieving Strategic Excellence in Human Resource Management, with Edward Lawler (Stanford University Press, 2009), and Retooling HR (Harvard Business Publishing, July 2010).

Ms Chua Sock Koong was appointed SingTel's Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 April 2007 and oversees the company's three key businesses - Singapore, Australia and International. She joined as Treasurer in 1989, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 1999 and has held several senior positions within the company.

An Executive Director of SingTel and board member of Bharti Airtel Limited, she is also a member of the SMU Board of Trustees, the Casino Regulatory Authority and the Public Service Commission.

She graduated with First Class Honours in Accountancy from the University of Singapore and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.

Ms Cordelia Chung was named Regional General Manager, IBM ASEAN in January 2009, overseeing IBM's regional operations across Southeast Asia that include sales and distribution, manufacturing, procurement, global delivery and support functions.

Ms Chung joined IBM in 1991 as General Counsel for China and Hong Kong, and promoted to Vice President and General Counsel for Asia Pacific in 1996. She moved to a business leadership role in 2001 with her appointment as General Manager, IBM China/Hong Kong and has since served in a variety of key leadership positions including Vice President, Business Partners and Vice President, Financial Services Sector for IBM Asia Pacific.

Ms Chung serves as a member of the IT Working Group of Singapore's Economic Strategies Committee.

Mr Sandip Das is an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Maxis Berhad. He joined the Company in 2007 and has more than 30 years of work experience in the consumer durable, automobile and the telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Maxis, he was the Deputy Managing Director and a Director of Hutchison Essar Limited (now known as Vodafone Essar Limited, India), one of India’s largest mobile operators.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Rourkela in India.

Mr Scott Drach was named Human Resources Director for Boeing International in October 2006. He reports to Shep Hill, president of Boeing International, and Rick Stephens, senior vice president of human resources and administration. Mr Drach is responsible for leading the function that provides human resources services for Boeing International employees in more than 70 plus countries around the world.

Mr Drach is a graduate of Louisiana State University and has a master's degree in Industrial Relations from Louisiana Tech University. He is certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and Global Professional in Human Resources.

Mr Gerard Ee was a practising accountant for almost 30 years until he retired as a partner of Ernst and Young. Soon after his retirement, Mr Ee was called in to help re-establish public confidence in a large charity organisation.

Mr Ee was thrust into a major human resources exercise. At the charity he had to right size the organisation by shrinking the workforce by almost 400 staff. He had to demonstrate fairness and compassion in the treatment of staff laid off. In addition he had to rally the remaining staff towards the rebuilding of the organisation.

Mr Foo Hee Kiang is Group Executive Vice President, Industry Relations and Commercial Contracts at Hyflux Ltd where he oversees business contracts and manages project costings, and is also responsible for interfacing with the water industry sector, including government agencies and industry players. In addition, he plays a key role in the strategic planning of the company's future direction.

One of the company's pioneers, Mr Foo has contributed significantly to Hyflux's growth from a small enterprise to a global fully-integrated water solutions provider. He was instrumental in identifying new and potential business areas for Hyflux, such as Hyflux’s venture into the Middle East & North Africa market.

Prof Lynda Gratton is Professor of Management Practice at London Business School and founder of the Hot Spots Movement. She has written six books and numerous academic articles and is considered one of the world's authorities on people in organisations.

She has received numerous awards including, "Top 20 business thinkers in the world today", "Business thinker most likely to make a difference over the next decade" and in the top two of "HR Top 100: Most Influential" and actively advises companies across the world.

Prof Gratton has also received a number of awards for her research and writing.

Mr Piyush Gupta is Chief Executive Officer and Director of DBS Group Holdings and DBS Bank Ltd. Prior to joining DBS, Mr Gupta was Chief Executive Officer of Citibank for Southeast Asia-Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. Mr Gupta serves on the boards of The Institute of Banking and Finance, Global Indian Foundation, Dr. Goh Keng Swee Scholarship Fund and MasterCard Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa Regional Advisory Board. He is an advisory board member of Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics and also a member of the Governing Council of the Human Capital Leadership Institute.

Mr Jack Hsu is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ivy Group, a leading educational organisation based in Beijing, China. The Ivy Group was founded in 2004 and is now one of the largest early childhood education companies in China. Previously, Jack had held various senior level positions at several global management consulting firms based in New York City, including Mitchell Madison Group and MMG Partners where he was a founding Partner.

Mr Hsu received his MBA from Columbia Business School, M.S. in Computer Science from University of Maryland, and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley. He also received a certificate in Multiple Intelligences from Harvard Graduate School of Education/WIDE.

Mr Michael Jenkins has been serving as Chief Executive Officer of Roffey Park Institute since early 2009. He regularly contributes at conferences on leadership-related topics and has a keen interest in global leadership and talent management issues.

He has held several senior positions including Regional Director for Japan and Korea, INSEAD and Director of INSEAD Executive Education Asia, Managing Director and Vice President of Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) Asia Pacific. He started his career as a motor industry analyst with Toyota, becoming Toyota's first British employee in Japan.

He holds a degree in Chinese Studies from Durham University and studied Japanese history, politics and economics at Nanzan University on a Rotary Foundation Scholarship.

Ms Melody King joined Pan Pacific Hotels Group in 2009 and leads the Human Capital and Development team in building capabilities and developing talent for the Group's Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL brands in key markets including North America, Asia, Greater China and Oceania. A global workforce of over 7,000 associates supports the Group’s expanding portfolio of over 30 hotels and resorts under its two brands.

She has over 20 years of experience in human resource management, and has held senior human resources leadership roles in Siebe Intelligent Automation, Asea Brown Boveri and Herbalife International, as well as key human resources positions in Shangri-La and Westin. Melody graduated from Les Roches Hotel and Tourism School in Bluche-Montana, Switzerland.

Mr Miguel Ko is Chairman and President, Asia-Pacific for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., the largest upper-upscale hotel company in the region. In his role, Mr Ko has strategic oversight of the operating and financial performance of 150 hotels and resorts with more than 50,000 rooms and 45,000 associates in 21 countries in Asia-Pacific. Additionally, there are over 100 new hotels under construction. Prior to this appointment, Mr Ko was Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CDL Hotels International.

Mr Ko received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters of Business Administration from Suffolk University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant from New Hampshire, USA.

Mr Ajay Lavakare is the Executive Chairman and founder of RMSI Private Limited, one of India's leading geospatial information services and solutions companies. Starting from a two-person start-up in a basement in New Delhi, RMSI today employs over 1,200 people in four offices across India.

Under Ajay's leadership, RMSI has been recognised for its human capital development and its progressive human resources best practices. RMSI has won several Best Employer in India awards and has been recognised by Indian industry associations and universities for its commitment towards its employees and their all-round development.

Ajay has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters degree in Structural Engineering from Stanford University.

Mr Gerald Lema is Corporate Vice President and President of Baxter's Asia Pacific region. He is responsible for operations in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, China/Hong Kong, India, North Asia and South East Asia.

He has more than 20 years of global experience in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and healthcare business. Prior to joining Baxter in 2005, his recent positions with Abbott Laboratories include Corporate Vice President, Asia Pacific, and Chairman and Representative Director, Japan.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Universidad del Valle, Colombia and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Freeman School of Business, Tulane University, New Orleans.

Mr Lim Swee Say joined the Labour Movement in 1996, serving as Deputy Secretary-General in the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) from 1997 to 1999. Since 1999, he has held office in various Ministries – Communications and Information Technology; Trade and Industry; Environment; and National Development. Currently, he is Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. Since January 2007, he has also been serving as NTUC’s Secretary-General. As the Labour Chief, he is steering the Labour Movement towards an inclusive movement, reaching out to working people of all collars, all ages and all nationalities to work, live and play together.

Mr Liu Zhengrong is the Global Head of Human Resources at LANXESS AG and was the first Chinese to be appointed as Group Senior Vice President among the top 50 German business corporations in 2004.

Prior to LANXESS AG, Liu spent six years in Asia working for Bayer AG and held senior positions including Head of Human Resources, Bayer Group, China and Asia-Pacific Human Resources Head, Bayer Polymer business.

He holds a master's degree from the University of Cologne in Education, Political Science and Anglo-American Study.

Mr Liu's human resources belief is "Trust in people management, Simplicity in human resources policies and Speed in change management."

Prof Ivy Ng is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) and Chief Executive Officer of KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH).

As Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SingHealth, she drives strategy formulation, planning and implementation to the three hospitals, five national disease centres and nine primary health clinics under SingHealth.

As Chief Executive Officer of KKH, she has dedicated much attention to the growing needs of women and children through medical innovations and holistic care services. Under her charge, KKH has received numerous awards for their people practices. In recognition of Prof Ng's people-centric leadership, she was conferred the SHRI Leading Chief Executive Officer Award in 2008.

Mr JP Orbeta has built a solid career in corporate human resources (HR), HR consulting and managing businesses, and has proven expertise in all aspects of human capital strategy and implementation.

As Managing Director of Ayala Corporation and member of its senior management committees, JP transformed human resources systems and processes at the holding company and throughout the Ayala group.

Prior to joining Ayala, Mr Orbeta was the global practice director for Watson Wyatt’s Human Capital Consulting Group and was a member of its board of directors.

In 2009, Mr Orbeta was awarded the People Manager of the Year by the People Management Association of the Philippines. His program, “Reinventing HR at Ayala,” was awarded People Program of the Year by the People Management Association of the Philippines in 2008.

Mr Nitin Paranjpe is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited and Executive Vice President of Unilever companies in South Asia. Previous positions included Category Head-Fabric Wash & Regional Brand Director (Asia), Vice President - Home Care (Laundry & Household Care) India and Executive Director for the Home & Personal Care business.

He is the President of Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and is on the Managing Committees of Confederation of Indian Industry, Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India, and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry.

He is a member on the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (Chandigarh) and a Member of the General Committee of the Breach Candy Hospital Trust.

Mr John Rice is Vice Chairman of GE and President & Chief Executive Officer of GE Technology Infrastructure, which includes GE Aviation, Healthcare and Transportation.

Rice joined GE in 1978, serving leadership roles in GE's Appliances and Plastics businesses before becoming Chief Executive Officer of GE Transportation Systems. Named Chief Executive Officer of GE Energy in 2000, he rose to Vice Chairman of GE and Chief Executive Officer of GE Industrial, then Vice Chairman of GE and Chief Executive Officer of GE Infrastructure.

A Hamilton College graduate, Rice serves on their Board, the Emory University Board, King Fahd University's International Advisory Board, and the Board of the CDC Foundation.

Mr Rick Smith leads Accenture's consulting focus on Human Capital in ASEAN while serving as the global leader of Accenture's Leadership Consulting Practice. He is based in Singapore.

He has 25 years of experience in the areas of leadership and human capital from his work with multiple client organisations around the world as well as from his personal experience as a former Chief Executive Officer, Human Resources Director, and Manufacturing Manager.

Rick earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and completed his graduate work at The Pennsylvania State University in Organizational Psychology. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Singapore Management University and is a board member for the Villanova University Business School's Global Leadership Center.

Mr Cliff Taylor is the Human Resources Director for Eli Lilly and Company, Amerasia (Africa, Middle East, Russia, Turkey and Asia). Eli Lilly is a research-based pharmaceutical company based in Indianapolis, USA, with operations worldwide.

He joined Eli Lilly in 1989 as a Sales Representative in the UK. After various sales, marketing and human resources assignments in the UK and US, he moved to Austria as Human Resources Director for Central and Eastern Europe, and later to Hong Kong as Human Resources Director for Asia.

Mr Taylor holds a MA in Modern Languages from Oxford University and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Mr John Victor Tence is the Vice President for Corporate Human Resources of Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), the publicly listed company that operates the largest Quick Service Restaurant Chains in the Philippines.

He has been with JFC since 2003 and is responsible for continuously developing the corporation's leadership engine to support JFC's aggressive growth targets in its target markets. He also facilitates strategic planning and spearheads the re-engineering of the Human Resources function to shared services in the corporation.

He has over 20 years of leadership in human resources, leading teams across countries and regions while developing partnerships with business clients to utilise human capital in developing a competitive edge for the organisation.

Prof Anne S. Tsui is Motorola Professor of International Management at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, and Distinguished Honorary Professor at three leading universities in China. She has published five books and over 90 research articles on the topics of executive leadership, managerial effectiveness, strategic human resource management, diversity, organisational culture, and employment relationships. She has won several major research awards, including the 2008 Walter F. Ulmer, Jr. Applied Leadership Research Award. She was the 14th Editor of AMJ a premier management journal, and founder of the journal MOR and an international association IACMR dedicated to Chinese management research.

Prof Dave Ulrich is a Professor of Business at the University of Michigan and a partner at the RBL Group, a consulting firm focused on helping organisations and leaders deliver value. He studies how organisations build capabilities of speed, learning, collaboration, accountability, talent, and leadership through leveraging human resources. He has helped generate award winning databases that assess alignment between strategies, human resources practices and competencies.
 
Prof Ulrich has published 20 books and over 100 articles and book chapters. In addition, he has also consulted and done research with over half of the Fortune 200. He is also a Fellow in the National Academy of Human Resources and is co-founder of the Michigan Human Resource Partnership.

Mr Wong Lup Wai is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Philips Electronics Singapore. Appointed in February 2009, he is responsible for growing the business and team in Singapore. His key priorities include sustaining high employee engagement and developing talents in Singapore for the global Philips community. Under his leadership, Philips received the inaugural TAFEP Exemplary Award in April 2010, which recognises companies with excellent employment and people practices.

Mr Wong is a board member of the SICC and a member in the Resource Panel formed by the GPC for Finance and Trade and Industry. He also co-chaired a Subcommittee 3 Working Group within the Economic Strategies Committee.

Mr David Wong is the Deputy Chief Executive of the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd with overall responsibility for the financial market businesses. He is also director of BOC Life. He was previously Corporate Executive Vice President and Country Executive of ABN AMRO Bank and led operations in Southeast Asia. He is the mentor of Oxford's "Developing Strategic Thinking and Leadership Capabilities" Training Program for BOCHK senior executives in 2009 and currently serves as member of the Board and Human Resources and Finance Committee / Audit Committee for CSC, Singapore. He was awarded the Financial Industry Certified Professional from IBF, Singapore and received the Distinguished Award for his contribution to the financial industry in Singapore.
